Gratitude Journal 2020

gratitude journal 2020

I am penning this Gratitude Journal as we are at the end of 2020. A New Year filled with adventures and suprises awaits us. I had stopped journaling for a while due to the personal crisis I am facing at home. We are yet to overcome the pandemic faced through Covid19. But Today there are so many things that made me feel at peace and of course grateful.

Here they are

1.The World has got not one but atleast five successful vaccines for overcoming Covid19 and some countries have started vaccinating the elderly and frontline workers first. Such a happy news for humanity. I am grateful to all the scientists, health organisations, and above all the almighty who have made this possible. (P.S. – I can’t wait to have my shot of vaccine.)

2.Personally, Today is the festival and star of “Thiruvadirai” or “Arudra” in Hindu Mythology. I went to the temple, early morning after a long time and offered my prayers. The whole experience to the temple was peaceful and soulfilling. Grateful for that.

3.I prepared the “Thiruvadirai Kali”, a famous sweet dish made on this day with the help of a Youtube tutorial. And after an hour of hard work, it turned out well and delicious. I offered it to the Lord and then to my family. Feeling Happy and Grateful.

4.I got to call and chat with my aunt. We checked on each other, discussed our lives, relatives, and Covid as well. We were complaining about the cold weather. The whole conversation made me feel relaxed and chilled.

Well well 2020 was a sad, tough and unforgettable year in the history of mankind. So many valuable lessons learned. So many memories made. I am looking forward to the New Year. Let’s hope that the new year unfolds lots of positivity and happiness for mankind. Before I end this Post, here’s wishing you readers all a happy, prosperous and safe New Year. Happy 2021.

Much Love……
