ways to protect your mental health

Symptoms:

Stress and periods of emotional distress can lead to so many symptoms. That may make it difficult for you to maintain normal behavior and activities.  They are

  • not eating enough or overeating.
  • distancing yourself from other people and favorite activities.
  • feeling hopeless, helpless or lost.
  • hearing voices in your head that you can’t stop.
  • having extreme mood swings that cause relationship problems.
  • Feeling Angry, anxious, Depressed, Sad or irritatabe.
  • Sleeplessness or Insomnia.

Ways to Protect Your Mental Health:

Seek the help of a trusted family member or Friend and Discuss with them the issues you are facing. Ask them to help you overcome the Difficulty you are facing in life.

Meditate. Do Yoga. Meditation plays a great role in calming your mind and nuturing your soul. It helps you find many solutions for your mental health problems. Seek the assistance of a Yoga practitioner or therapist to learn how to meditate.

Seek the assistance of a Psychologist or Counsellor in case you are facing problems like Insomnia or Extreme Mood-swings.

Keep Active: Physical exercise is great for your body. Dancing, swimming, walking, and jogging boost cardio health and strength. They’re also great for your mind. they can help reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety.

Your brain needs a mix of nutrients in order to stay healthy and function well, just like the other organs in your body. A diet that’s good for your physical health is also good for your mental health.

We often drink alcohol to change our mood. Some people drink to deal with fear or loneliness, but the effect is only temporary. When the drink wears off, you feel worse because of the way the alcohol has affected your brain and the rest of your body. Drinking is not a good way to manage difficult feelings.

Take a Break: A Change of Environment, Traveling, Listening to Calm Music, or Diverting yourself with an Outing with Good Friends are some activities that help you recharge your emotions and lift up your spirits.
