Last Day of the Year 2023
As a World, We have had a disturbing Year. Looking Back at 2023 there have been lots of Natural Disasters and Wars. We have lost thousands of innocent civilian deaths in the Ukraine-Russia War, Earthquakes in Turkey, and Israel-Palestine War. Millions of People lost their home, friends, families, and wealth, fleeing to refuge camps and safe havens. I am pained to state that more that 10,000 children were amputated from their limbs in the Gaza War. 2023 has given different experiences to different nations. Our country experienced a Good Growth rate in the Past Year. But As An Individual It was not a good year for me as well. I couldn’t attain the milestones that I had set at the begining of the year 2023. Still We have to accept the fact that Growth is not a Linear process in Life.
Practicing Gratitude, Hoping Positively and a Heartfelt Prayer during difficult times is what makes us overcome every crisis. With that Note….. Penning my gratitude journal for the year 2023 Here..
These are the things I am thankful for in 2023
1. am thankful to God for giving me and my family Good Health. We also had a good Good financial Year.
2. I got Online Certifications from UN Women in the fields of Women’s Leadership and Women’s Equality. I am aspiring for a career in Social Leadership. So Out of that interest, I took up these free courses offered by UN Women Training Center. The whole learning process only lasted a few hours. It was easy to understand the concepts. And I felt happy that I could add a UN certificate to my profile. Grateful!
3. As a Nation, We, India had a wonderful year. Growth wise…We did Outstandingly well. We landed on the Moon, We hosted the G20 Summit, We implemented Cashless Payments (UPI) not just in urban areas but also Rural Areas, just only to list a some. Our national standards have raised up a lot.We were lauded by world leaders and other countries. Thankfulll!
4. I attended a Workshop on Tanjore Painting Workshop earlier this year. I did a Varalakshmi Painting and gifted it to my mother. It was a nostalgic moment in my life because I had fulfilled her wish. She has requested me that I make one for her and that’s the only gift she had ever asked me in so many years. Thankful!
5. Getting a Certificate in ‘AI for India’ from the Government of India and from GUVI, was also something that I am grateful for. I didnt in my wildest dreams imagined that I could clear Coding(Python) Course certified by Google which was a prerequiste to do the AI Course. It was an enriching experience. Coding was hard but I managed to get through. Thankful! I am now planning to do more in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
6. My Mom was facing health issues in the heart. That was disturbing me a lot. Prayer was my only comfort during those days. I am grateful to God for bringing her out of that illness. She is cheerful and in a better state now, physically and mentally.
There are so many little things to thankful for like Many Peaceful days, Loving Moments spent with family and friends, Travel Memories….. As We wrap up 2023, Lets take up resolutions that not only benefit us as an Individual but also some that help the deprived, vulnerable, society and charties. Wishing You all a very Happy 2024.
Howdy would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re working with?
I’m looking to start my own blog in the near future but I’m having a tough time deciding between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.
The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different then most
blogs and I’m looking for something completely
unique. P.S Sorry for getting off-topic but I had to ask!
