This is my Gratitude Journal as on 30/03/2024.Practicing gratitude has incredible effects, from improving our mental health to boosting our relationships with others. Spend some time thinking about what you appreciate most about your friends, teacher, or parents and draft a letter by hand, expressing your sentiments. While recognizing our gratitude is important – just writing it down is enough to make you feel warm inside, which is what I am doing right now. I suggest that all the readers pen their share of gratitude journal based on their experiences in Life. You will end up in leading a Happy and Content Life as a result.
“Enough Of Gyan’s. Here are the three things I feel Grateful as of today.
I feel grateful for three things today
- I finally have got my mini vegetable garden set in my home. This was something I yearned to have for a long time. I have set my own home veggie garden. I bought seeds of Brinjal, Tomatoes, Cucumber, Spinach, and Broad Beans. I sowed the seeds with the help of a gardener in a nursery at different pots. With paitence, daily watering, and a week’s time, they are all showing up. My happiness knew no bounds when I saw all the seeds transformed into saplings. Now I am patiently waiting for them to grow big and reap the harvest of veggies. Thankful!
- I get the freedom to visit places of worship of all religions. I respect and embrace all religions. I believe in Omnism and happy to call myself an Omnist. Though I am a Hindu, I visit and pray all worship places like Churches, Temples, and Mosques. I am of an opinion that God is One and He is present in every religion and everywhere. I would like to thank my parents for granting me the freedom to practice Ominisim., respect and pray all religions. Thankful and Grateful!
- I got the Chance to feed the residents of Missionaries Of Charity (a Charity Institution founded by the Late Mother Teresa) on my birthday. I was so happy to meet and interact with the sisters of the convent. I was happy to see the residents who were all women, old, abandoned by their family and some mentally challenged. I would like to thank the sisters for giving me an opportunity to feed and interact with the residents. A much humble and joyful moment there was when a handicapped friend there plucked and gifted me a bouquet of flowers from the garden while I was distributing lunch to the others there. I felt Gods presence in that instance. Thankful and Grateful. I promised myself to visit them more in the future more than just an occasion.“
By now, you know that gratitude can lead to a happy life and be defined as the state of being thankful. Put your newfound knowledge to the test and see how many sentences you can come up with on your own properly using our word of the day. The Video below explains the way to lead a happy and content life by adapting the habit of penning gratitude journals. Do watch It. I end up this journal with
“Gratitude is the healthiest of all human emotions. The more you express gratitude for what you have, the more likely you will have even more to express gratitude for” – Zig Ziglar
